On Feb. 4, 2011 at 9 37pm I ordered a lasagna and a six pack of beer from Leona's restaurant on 91st and Stony Island in Chicago, IL. I called and placed the order and the lady said that it will be twenty minutes. So I am like okay. 20 minutes past and I decided to call because I felt that I forgotten to give the address to her and this guy says "oh there is no more lasagna but your card was still charged."So I am like okay after I asked about my card. I was not rude to them or anything. But I left a nice little review on Grubhub.com, yelp.com leonas.com and their facebook page right along with mine. So this guy named Leon sent me emails that were really rude and I am going to put them on here later. And he says he and his family owns Leona's and they are not theives. I said when there was no lasagna, you should have told the order taker so she would know because when I talked to her, she said that it was only one kind of lasagna left. So I said I will take it. No one called to tell that there was no food. I would have been sitting there waiting and he said my card was charged wondering where the hell is my food.
So Leon started with the emails and his brother read them and apologized to me and said that he would have the manager Carlos to get in touch with me. I Talked with the manager and he was upset and he understood why I was upset and offered me 50% off my next order. And he said he as going to have a talk with the employees. he also said that my card was voided and to give it a couple of days and the money will be back on the card. So all was taken care of. I even rewrote my review on yelp.com because Carlos and Sam was so professional about it. I thought the whole thing was over until Leon contacted me again with these mean emails. He has been harassing me since Feb 4 2011 11 42 pm.
So today, I got tired of the emails and decided to call non-emergency to file a police report and the officer to let corporate know what I had done so I did. I also told Leona's that next I will be getting an attorney and may even send the emails to the news media. Guess what? I have not gotten an email yet. Lmao.

| Hello Gwendolyn, In 61 years in business we've never stolen a customer's money, nor refused a refund. You can make a full-time career blogging ... and calling news stations with "The lost Lasagna story" if it makes you feel better. It makes no difference to our response policy or our future. People generally recognize vindictive, unkind behavior. And, your overwhelming anger may have interfered with understanding my last message? We're still very sorry about your not receiving your dinner ... not because of your completely unnecessary threats but because we pride ourselves on what we do! Juan Carlos will contact you later this afternoon with a refund for whatever the amount was that you we charged. Apologies, again. Leon. --- On Sat, 2/5/11, Gwendolyn Howard
